The Upside and Joy of Uncertainty

Change is Difficult. Although we may collectively be experiencing uncertainty due to the circumstances, I hope to offer an upside, a bit of positivity.

Humans prefer certainty, and we need to know what is right and true.

We thrive when we meet, face, and tackle unexpected challenges. Uncertainty shows us strength, resolve, resiliency, and even joy.

The best way to embrace the uncertainty is to acknowledge and act on what you can control. Focus on what you are able and GET to do.

Many I hear from are sick and tired of seeing information about how to strengthen the immune system and make the best use of your time in quarantine. There is a desire to move on, a feeling of being overly annoyed with the bombardment of best practices to make during the pandemic - on how to stay healthy and fit, fed up with the negative political posts and the news.

One thing that provides me with a sense of “control” is to “geek out” on and learn more about the human virome, microbiome, fungi, and healthspan.

If nothing else, we are learning to adapt. We may not get to hang out with our friends tonight, but we do get to choose how we respond to the outside noise. We get to decide how we fuel our mind, body, and brain.

How are you interacting with yourself? Are you shutting off from the external noise? Are you feeding your soul, your body, and the brain, or are you depleting it?

Ask yourself powerful questions, and the answers may bring you Joy in the uncertainty.

Tell me something you are choosing that gives you a sense of confidence.

Here is a small gift for you, save for another day when you are not tired of hearing about the best health practices and more.

I created a list of Foods to Boost Your Immune System, a list you can be confident will feed your body, mind, and soul. You can download it by clicking the button below.
